Racism – A Man’s Gravest Threat To Mankind

Reading Time: 3 minutes
There is no such thing as race. None. There is just a human race — scientifically, anthropologically. What is Racism and what should be done to tackle it?

Social chaoses have existed throughout history but if we compare former times with the modern world, we conclude that they are on their peak today.

We shall discover the reality coming forth of those who have real beasts disguised within their soulful bodies drastically annexing them, yet claiming themselves as ‘humans’.

The act that seems fun for committers and as devastating as death for the victims.

Racism!

The discrimination directed against a person or a group of people especially minorities based on their ethnic group, skin tone, beliefs, looks, language etc.
The major cause of such prejudice is the arrogance-filled heart and self-obsession as if they have arrived from heaven and others just escaped hell.
In this article, I will open up my thoughts about racism based on skin tone, probably the most common one.

Colorism!

On May 2020, an African American man named George Floyd was strangled to death by the local police for allegedly using a twenty-dollar counterfeit bill.

This was visualized as a racial murder by the people and thus concluded in great mass protests all over the world.

In every corner of the world (especially in the West), black people face mental and physical discrimination; even small gestures passed by racist people are sore enough to leave them desperate. The children have also been accustomed to the pursuing trend; last year a C.C.T.V camera from Spain revealed footage of a park where some children were enjoying their time.

Soon a black child came there along with his mother. Other children didn’t allow him to play in there; where ever he went, he was followed by those children, thus he and his mother left the park. What was this?

Are we giving birth to racist children?

The parents are expected to instill unbiased thinking into their children but what they have inculcated is the sheer stupidity of biasedness.

Such racist minds if asked what will they do with their white appearance when they have ceded their hearts; they will be nothing but utter darkness.
Whilst the reality is, whatever you do or where ever you go, a sensible person will always judge you by your inner reflection.

On the contrary, as every action reacts similarly, there are so many examples too where people countered Shadeism.

Such as Nelson Mandela, who opposed the apartheid movement in South Africa and successfully put an end to racial segregation in the country and even served as their first black president.

Another great example can be the ‘Montgomery Bus Boycott’ which led to the rise of Martin Luther King.

Along with this, there are so many famous people taking steps against racism with local people also expressing their support through protests.

But besides these struggles, Shadeism still mourns loud in our so-called tolerant world; we have experienced several defeats in this ideological war against racism.

It is straightforward and clear that we can defeat racism only through proper education.

But the statistics show that education, compared to previous centuries, is highest and contrasting today and it also shows that racism is committed the most today.

Where do we lack then?

Can we say are educational system is faulty?

We are always taught that the day we attain a degree will be the day we will be called educated and this is the actual success in one’s life.

We are barely told in school that if we learn how to respect different members of ethnic groups and people of different faiths and their beliefs, we will be called educated.

Our system needs a great revolution.

Etiquette and social awareness ought to be our priority in education alongside graduation.

Another major act that may cure racism is better leadership as leaders leave a great impression over the people; being a role model for the nation to pursue.

In March 2018, an Israeli Rabbi (a religious teacher in Judaism) compared African migrants living in Israel with monkeys. Although he faced so much discrimination because of this shameful act most people appreciated him and backed his position.

On the other hand, Nelson Mandela completely changed South Africa due to his great leadership and changed people’s perspectives.

Thus honorable people are also required for proper retaliation against racism.

The ethnicity of people varies with the region and this is the perfection of nature; Racism was never natural, it was artificially designed by dirty minds.

It is impossible to utterly rip it off as good and bad people will always exist everywhere but it can be contained and for that authorities, leaders and locals have to step out and struggle.
