They had promised to love each other to the moon and back, but the darkness around intimidated them.
They had promised to LIVE with each other but they instead choose to LEAVE each other.
They had promised to live, die and be buried together….but they buried the promises they had made to each other first.
They had dreams of building an empire together but they instead used the stones to fight each other.
They held each other’s souls, but they ended up showing each other’s souls leaving.
They referred to what they had together as solid but they forgot that solids melt.
This thing called love; It is more than the promises we make.
It would only be right to say you love someone when you can persevere with them even when you feel like you can’t take it anymore.

“I love you” are the three most powerful words. Love is not all about what you say but what you really feel. Love is defined by your actions. Congrats Emma?, am so happy for you.
Wow…What a lovely morning to start with ?
Felt a little pain in reading it though..
Promises cannot always be adhered to. It is sometimes meant to be broken. But we can always strive to love somebody a little more everyday…
It hurts when promises are broken as we couldn’t made the efforts to stay in touch or to love anymore. That is life…it happens?
‘I love you’.These are very strong words that people dont know their meaning and just misuse them. This is a very good article trying to reveal what love looks like when forever is not in our hearts but in our mouths.
Good work. Njeri
Lovly piece of thoughts
What a nice piece Emmah!
I think what makes the term ‘I love you’ to lose its meaning is because not both parties mean it when they say it… Then also fake life/ hidden identity, where one pretends to be a nice person to lure the other and after sexual intercourse they expose their real identity
It’s sad when love that was linked with blood turns into hate bonded with chains
Good work Njeri
Nice piece Emmah . Congrats .
