I know I’m a girl,
And the world treats me as a spot on its wall.
I’m not allowed out late at night,
If a boy does the same it’s all right.
I’m abused for my short dress,
If a boy is shirtless then it just refers to his dressing sense.
I too want to fly in the open sky,
With my wings wide open; Just like a fly.
But when I was born,
I had my wings of freedom withdrawn.
Why the human race forgets how they came on this earth?
Let me remind you that it is because of a girl who decided to gave them birth.
Why the world treats me with no importance?
Do I have no existence?
