What do you do when you are happy?
Well for rats, their ears relax, become droopy and slightly pinker. They also smile with their ears! That is so interesting of them even though they cause a lot of trouble for humans.
Did you also know that a group of rats is called a mischief!
I think they are the happiest animals.
You might have sung the popular ‘If you are happy and you know to clap your hands’ song. Maybe you sang it whenever you were happy without any bills or health conditions bothering you.
But what about now? Are you happy? How can you be happy?
Adulthood comes with a fair share of challenges. Economic constraints and increased health challenges have led to a depressed generation. But you can smile and be happy even with the challenges.
Happiness is a choice. It all depends on your attitude.
A new year comes with resolutions and goals. Amidst all the challenges, it’s good to set achievable minor goals that will aid in achieving your major goals. Being overambitious by setting goals that cannot be achieved in a measurable time frame drains your energy.
As a result, you can’t be happy. Achieving the goals you have set for yourself will make you a happier person.
Being content with what you already have proven to be an important factor in being happy. Maintain a positive attitude towards what you have however small or big.
By doing so, you will learn to appreciate your effort. You will not have to overwork yourself seeking solace in getting something you saw someone else buy. This way, you will be happier.
Do what you like doing whenever life challenges seem to stress you out. You could read, listen to music, take walks, talk to someone who will understand and even sing! This will help you put a smile despite the many challenges.
I wish you nothing but happiness. Remember to put on a smile on your face. It looks good on you.
