A Letter To Myself At 2030

Hi, 18 years old!

Today, I’m gonna tell you how the world which I thought was a fantasy in past has become real.

You know why?

To motivate you adequately so that whenever you read out this letter, you get full of zeal to figure beyond targets and limits. These 10 years have changed the world, me and society to a bigger extent which perhaps I or we never expected.

The world has been an advanced global village and the two P’s are in a better state- Population and Pollution.

The population has been slightly stabilized as the insight of birth control is increased. Transportation mostly includes electric vehicles which have decreased noise pollution, biodegradable products are used rather than plastic to beat water pollution and fortunately awareness of dirt and garbage has reduced land pollution.

As nuclear power plants are more efficient, the consumption is like a luminous planet star. As the world is full of working-class consumers so people are thinking to invent mega satellite structures which can absorb radiations that the sun emits. Electricity is typically obtained from solar cells. Likewise, the electricity is received directly from sunlight resulting in low or no demand for power catered by the general public sector, reducing the overall economy of a rustic.

Artificial technology is emerging, the tasks previously performed by humans were in the threat of mistakes and failure but now would be threat-free, robots would be replacing humans and most probably taking over the labor force.

Slaughtering of animals is evil in western countries boosting animal population and vegetarianism is a usual practice. Nutrition is seen in a new light increasing the usage of green produce.

In addition, the harmful chemicals injected into livestock tend to imbalance the hormonal level which can lead to Gigantism and Addison disease is the major concern of humans.

Rising sea level due to the melting of polar ice caps by the increase in the greenhouse effect is leading to global warming. And not surprisingly, Antarctica is slowly becoming a new Asia!

Due to the desire of well-structured infrastructure, the land present is in deficit and chopping down of trees is the only option left resulting in mass deforestation leading to a high level of C02 in the air.

Not neglecting the usual human emotions which usually lead to unjustified decisions such as partition and destruction in the form of wars, attacks and taking over human selfishness is going to force the humans to separate their prosperous countries into small and run-down countries.

It’s common for teens to work part-time and earn hourly wages in developing countries. Underdeveloped countries have grown to a larger scale having more educational institutes and fewer economic crises. Poverty has met the downfall since job and employments opportunities increased, available with an advertisement at your doorstep.

Hey you? Life moves fast, doesn’t it?

Remember when you were in school dying to start college, then once started waited for those four messy years to end and now the graduation is taking forever?

Because life is quicker than we assume, why not do something big?

If life was a game won’t you be finding opportunities to manoeuvre a level-up? Many experiences are waiting to make you a better person building up your character and personality.

I know we’ve been striving for something more than relaxing in our comfy pyjamas and scrolling social media feed to see the same posts of family photos and celebrities.

So, stay strong and believe yourself. Just be enough determined to realize that regardless of what happens you continue to intensify on your staircase of goals!
